Do I need my own builder?
No, we have specific certified installers that we use and can organise for you.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Our current lead time for quotes is 5 Working Days.
What’s your quoting process from start to finish?
First send us a quote request either via email or website ‘Quote request’ or coming into the showroom. Make sure you send through all of the information needed. (E.g Plans, sizes, photos)We will lodge your quote into our system and analyse the job and create your quote on the details provided. If we have any questions we will contact you via phone or email. We will send your quote back through our secure quoting app - Quotient.
Should I get double glazed or single glazed glass?
Double Glazed
If you are replacing your entire house of windows and doors we would recommend double glazed joinery, as this will be better for heat reduction (Keeping your house warm in the winter and cool in the summer).*
Single Glazed
Single Glazed glass is a great option for houses that already have single glazed glass
throughout the house - e.g smaller renovations or alterations to match existing style.
Single Glazed is a great option for non livable areas e.g garages.
Can I get glass that protects from UV Light?
Yes - There are a number of different types of glass that each have their own pros and cons - but it would be best to contact us to find the best option.

What are your payment options?
If you are a cash customer - Pay 50% Deposit before we begin ordering your joinery. Then you pay the final 50% when you are to have it delivered.
If you are a builder or a contractor and you would like to apply for a trade account - Please contact us for more details.
Do I need a building consent to change my windows?
It is best to check with your builder or alternative regulatory authority (Council) as there are a number of restrictions and regulations that can affect this.
Why are you Summit Windows and Doors but sell Vantage joinery?
We currently manufacture Vantage joinery which is NZ's most popular Window & Door ranges.
How do your warranties work?

Our current lead time is 4 weeks from site measure and deposit paid.
Do you install your joinery?
We use a variety of sub-contractors who are certified installers.
Do your delivery drivers help unload?
No - as we only have one driver. You will need to organise at least 2 people to unload.
